Purpose:

Funding for the Sakewew High School project designed to identify and assess specific issues that students ranging in age from 13 to 22 years of age are experiencing around substance use; the project calls for students to design a plan of action for the school that identifies ways to collectively address their needs and issues and assist the students with implementing at least one specific action identified in their plan that would impact positively on their school, their communities and themselves. As a part of the project implementation process, community partners will be developed and drug education awareness workshops will be delivered.
