Purpose:

This project proposes to develop and disseminate national educational standards for UHWs who provide personal supportive care by: hosting a national consensus-building forum on developing national standards for UHWs; completing an inventory of existing UHW educational programs; developing knowledge tools, a guide and database reflecting similarities/variations among programs; and, developing a framework to support governments/educators/employers in implementing standards for UHW training.
