Purpose:

Funding is for an eighteen month Canadian AIDS Society (CAS) project entitled: Community-Based Models for Harm Reduction Development in Canada. In close collaboration with the Canadian Harm Reduction Network (CHRN), CAS will identify and document successful strategies that reduce harms associated with problematic substance use in medium-sized cities across Canada. The project will result in an increased awareness and understanding, and use of successful harm reduction strategies that are appropriate for implementation in medium-sized cities.
