Purpose:

Working in partnership Oxford County Drug Taskforce this project will create opportunities for dialogue between young people aged 11-18 years about illicit drug use prevention in the Thames Valley region. This initiative will develop a ‘virtual’ forum linking youth-accessed school websites to substance use prevention information, strategies and programming. Project deliverables will include a resource library of substance use prevention manuals, tools, presentation materials, as well as facilitated workshops for youth and their parents. Project results will be disseminated to Oxford County Drug Task Force members organizations, the London Middlesex Addiction and Mental Health Alliance, the Oxford County Mental Health and Addiction Network and Elgin County Mental Health and Addiction Network.
